Bad Beat Rules
Even the losers are winners at Piggs Peak Poker!

The following rules apply to the Bad Beat Jackpot at Piggs Peak Poker:
  • Four or more players must be dealt into the hand. 
  • The losing hand must be Four-of-a-Kind - 8's or better.
  • The hand of the winner and loser must include the hole cards and the hand must go to a showdown.
  • The hand must have contributed to the jackpot to qualify.
  • The Bad Beat Jackpot Contribution will only be taken when the pot exceeds R60.
  • The Bad Beat Jackpot is only applicable to tables clearly marked “Bad Beat” and R1/R2 and higher. (Tables with stakes less than R1/R2 do not qualify as Bad Beat Jackpot tables)

Win Payout Structure

The payout schedule for the jackpot, when won, is as follows:
  • 10% is paid back to Piggs Peak Poker in proportion to how the players have contributed to the Jackpot.
  • 20% is used to seed the next Jackpot.
  • 70% is used for Player winnings.
The 70% Player winnings portion is split as follows:
  • 50% to the loser - the Player with the Bad Beat hand.
  • 25% to the winner.
  • 25% to the other Players who actively participated in the hand.
